Edward Teyssier was the Libertarian candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 53rd Congressional District (map) of California. He was the Libertarian nominee challenging incumbent Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.). He ran unopposed in primary elections, which took place on June 3, 2008, but lost to Davis in the November general election.^[1]
