Eric Wilson

Eric Wilson is a democratic candidate for the Ohio’s 1st District. He is a third generation Cincinnatian growing up in Cincinnati, graduating from the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Dayton School of Law.
Locally, many know Wilson from his 2005 citywide campaign for city council and his career in finance. Nationally, many know Wilson as the only 1st District candidate to honor Obama’s nomination and Hillary’s historic bid by attending the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Further, many know him as a co-commentator with CNN’s Roland Martin on the Jamie Foxx radio program during the Convention.
Eric has been involved in politics at the National level, State level, and Local level. On a National level, Eric interviewed with the Democratic National Committee in Washington D.C. and was selected to work on the Presidential campaign of Al Gore. On the State level, he worked at the Ohio House of Representatives for former State Representative Helen Rankin.
On a Local level, he has run for Cincinnati City Counsel and has helped in support of several local candidates and issues.
Eric Wilson is the only candidate in the 1st District’s to support reproductive freedom and only candidate to support Barak Obama in the primary.
