Ethan Berkowitz is the Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the At-large Congressional District (map) of Alaska. He is the Democratic nominee seeking to challenge incumbent Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska). He won in primary elections which took place on August 26, 2008. [1] [1]

Bio

In 1998, Ethan got together with a group of friends and founded Snow City Café. This last year, Ethan established Alaskan Alternative Energy, a company that focuses on developing low-cost renewable energy in rural Alaskan communities. He served in the Alaska State Legislature for ten years. After Ethan’s first term in office, he was chosen by his peers to lead the House Democrats, a position he held for eight years. In 2006, Ethan was the Alaska Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor. [1]
