Greg Davis is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Mississippi. On April 1, 2008, he won a run-off primary for the Republican nomination to replace Rep. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.).[1] On April 22, Davis received 46.3 percent of the vote in a special election, necessitating a run-off with Democratic candidate Travis Childers, who had 49.4 percent.[2]
