Greg Fischer was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky. He was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). He lost to Bruce Lunsford in the primary which took place on May 20, 2008. [1]
