Jacquese Conaway was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 25th Congressional District (map) of California. She won the Democratic nomination in the June 2008 primaries, but lost to incumbent Rep. Buck McKeon (D-Calif.) in the November 2008 U.S. congressional elections.[1]
