James Rice was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky. He was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). The primary took place on May 20, 2008 which James Rice lost to Bruce Lunsford [1]
