Jason Davis was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 24th Congressional District (map) of Florida. He was seeking the Republican nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.). He lost in primary elections which took place on August 26, 2008. [1]

Bio
Born in New York, Davis' family moved to Florida in 1968. He graduated from Brantley High School, in Apopka, Fla., in 1980.
Davis joined the U.S. Army in 1980 and served until 1993. He served in the infantry, and fought in the Persian Gulf War as a squad leader. Davis received the Bronze Star, a Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal and Kuwaiti Liberation Medal. He received the key to the city of his hometown, Apopka, for his bravery in actions in the Gulf War.[2]
