Jim Martin is the Democratic candidate for the Senate in Georgia

Jim Martin is the Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the Senate in Georgia. He is seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.). Because no candidate received 50% of the vote in the July Democratic primary elections, Martin defeated Vernon Jones in a runoff which will take place on August 5, 2008. [1]
