James Edwin "Jim" Vaughn was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 8th Congressional District (map) of Washington. He was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Wash.). He was defeated in the primary that took place on August 19, 2008.
