Joe Allen is the Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 8th Congressional District (map) of Missouri. He is the Democratic nominee to challenge incumbent Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (R-Mo.). He ran unopposed in primary elections which took place on August 5, 2008. [1]

Bio

Joe practices law at the Merrell Law Firm and serves as the Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Rockaway Beach. He served as treasurer of the Taney County Bar Association in 2007, and is the former chairman of the Stone County Democrats. [1]
