Joseph Visconti is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Connecticut. He won the Republican nomination and is seeking to challenge incumbent Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.). [1]

Bio
Owns and operates Joseph Visconti, LLC, a general contracting company specializing in commercial renovations and repairs. Joe is a businessman, a member of the West Hartford Town Council, patron of the arts and community activist. He serves on the council’s Community Planning and Development Committee, and is a Council liaison to the West Hartford Board of Education. [2]
