Joel Dykstra is the Republican nominee in the 2008 congressional elections for the Senate in South Dakota. He is the Republican nominee seeking to challenge incumbent Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.). He won in primary elections which took place on June 3, 2008. [1]

Bio

Joel Dykstra has served South Dakotans in the State Legislature since 2002. In 2004, Joel was elected Assistant House Majority Leader, a position he still holds today. He also chairs the House Taxation Committee and serves as Vice Chair of the House State Affairs Committee. [2]

Dykstra is the Republican nominee seeking to challenge Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) in the 2008 congressional elections.[3] He won in primary elections which took place on June 3, 2008. [1]
