Kay Barnes is the Democratic candidate for the 6th Congressional District of Missouri

Kay Barnes is the Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 6th Congressional District (map) of Missouri. She is the Democratic nominee to challenge incumbent Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.). The primary will take place on August 5, 2008. She won in primary elections which took place on August 5, 2008. [1]

Kay is currently a Distinguished Professor for Public Leadership at Park University, Parkville, Missouri. She also served as Mayor of Kansas City for two terms. [1]
