Kenneth Wegner is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Nevada. He won the Republican nomination and is challenging incumbent Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-Nev.).[1] The primary took place on August 12, 2008.
