Kevin Mannix was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 5th Congressional District (map) of Oregon. He was seeking the Republican nomination for the seat vacated by Rep. Darlene Hooley (D-Ore.) who chose not run for re-election. He was defeated in the primary elections which took place on May 20, 2008. [1]
