Kevin Powell is a former Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 10th Congressional District (map) of New York. He is seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-N.Y.). He lost in the primary that took place in September 2008.[1]
