Kirk Schuring is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 18th Congressional District (map) of Ohio. With the endorsement of retiring incumbent Rep. Ralph Regula's (R-Ohio), he won the Republican nomination and will face Democratic candidate John Boccieri for Regula’s vacant seat.[1]

Kirk Schuring won the Republican nomination in the 2008 congressional primary.[1] He was endorsed by the conservative political action committee MAF Freedom PAC, which is affiliated with the pro-war group Move America Forward. [2]
