Larry Grant was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Idaho. He dropped out of primary elections which took place on May 27, 2008.[1]

Bio

Born in 1946, Grant attended Columbia University and the University of Denver School of Law. The then entered into a private law practice before becoming general counsel and vice-president for Micron Technology and later VLSI Technology. He and his wife Pam have one son and two grandchildren.[2]

2006 elections

Larry Grant was the Democratic Party nominee in the 2006 congressional election for the First Congressional District of Idaho (map). He ran against Republican Bill Sali to replace Rep. C.L. Otter, who was running for governor. Sali won the seat.

2008 elections

Grant was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. Bill Sali (R-Idaho) in the 2008 congressional elections.[3][4][5]
