Lars Grossmith was a Libertarian candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 49th Congressional District (map) of California. He was the Libertarian nominee challenging incumbent Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). He ran unopposed in primary elections, which took place on June 3, 2008, but lost to Issa in the November general election.[1]
