Marina Kats was the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 13th Congressional District (map) of Pennsylvania. She was the Republican nominee to challenge incumbent Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa.), having won the primary on April 22, 2008. She lost to Schwartz, however, in the November general election.[1]
