Mark Ellmore is a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 8th Congressional District (map) of Virginia. He won the Republican nomination in the June 2008 primaries, so he will go on in to challenge incumbent Jim Moran (D-VA) in the November 2008 U.S. congressional elections.

Bio

Mark Ellmore was born in Alexandria, Virginia on July 22, 1959. [1] He is the Vice President of Olympia West Company and the Chairman of Know the Truth Ministires. He is a member of McLean Bible Church. He is also the President of Ameracorp Financial and a Senior Consultant for Countrywide Bank. [1]

2006 election

In the 2006 U.S. congressional elections, Mark Ellmore was defeated in the Republican primary. He lost 70% to 30% to Tom O'Donoghue.[1]

2008 elections

Ellmore won the Republican nomination in the June 2008 primaries, so he will go on in to challenge incumbent Jim Moran (D-VA) in the November 2008 U.S. congressional elections.[1][1][1]
