Mark J. Leyva is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Indiana. On May 6, 2008 he won the Republican nomination to challenge Rep. Peter Visclosky (D-Ind.) in the 2008 congressional elections.[1]
