Marty Ozinga is the Republican candidate for the 11th Congressional District of Illinois

Marty Ozinga is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 11th Congressional District (map) of Illinois. After winning the February 5 primary, Tim Baldermann declined the Republican nomination and withdrew from the race for Illinois' 11th congressional seat.[1] Soon after, Ozinga announced his intentions to be the replacement Republican candidate and will now face Debbie Halvorson in the general election in November.[2]
