Marty Ozinga is the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 11th Congressional District (map) of Illinois. After winning the February 5 primary, Tim Baldermann declined the Republican nomination and withdrew from the race for Illinois' 11th congressional seat.^[1] Soon after, Ozinga announced his intentions to be the replacement Republican candidate and will now face Debbie Halvorson in the general election in November.^[2]
