Michael Badnarik was the Libertarian nominee in the 2006 congressional election for the 10th Congressional District of Texas (map). He unsuccessfully challenged Republican Rep. Michael McCaul.

Biography
Badnarik is a single male, born October 1, 1954 in Hammond, Indiana. Badnarik's professional career began in 1977, after leaving the University of Indiana. Since 2000, Badnarik has been engaged in politics, running for two elected positions between 2000 and 2002. [1]
Badnarik ran for President of the United States in 2004 as a Libertarian candidate.
