Michael Stettler, candidate for U.S. Congress in the 24th Congressional district of California

Michael Stettler is a Democrat from Ventura, California and was a write-in candidate in the 2006 election for the United States House of Representatives in California's 24th Congressional District (map). Though this was his first campaign for political office, Stettler has long been involved in local, regional, and national politics. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, last stationed at Naval Air Station Point Mugu.

Bio

Stettler was born on September 3, 1966 in Inglewood, California. He was educated at Ventura College, and was an electrician and senior caregiver before entering the race for the House in January 2006.
