Michael Peter Crimmins was the Republican nominee in the 2008 congressional elections for the 53rd Congressional District (map) of California. He was the Republican nominee challenging incumbent Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.). He won in primary elections, which took place on June 3, 2008, but lost to Davis in the November general election.[1]
