Description
How to train a candidate, campaign staff, corporate execs & parrots to prevent getting Couric'd using new online technology tools in tandem with traditional tactics to manage the new (and mainstream) media.
Speakers
- Bill McIntyre - Bill is the Col. John "Hannibal" Smith (from the hit TV show the A-Team) of public affairs…but without the cigar and cheesy disguises. Like "Hannibal," Bill is adept at dealing with problems, figuring out what is wrong and resolving it. He is a master strategist, blending new and traditional communications tactics on behalf of products, causes and companies. He has led--and continues to lead--some of the most successful cause-communications programs ever launched, earning accolades from The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and winning national recognition from PR Week, The Holmes Report, the American Association of Political Consultants and the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet. Before joining GRE, Bill was a senior executive with Burson Marsteller's Direct Impact grassroots firm, where he ran major national grassroots communications programs for "challenged industries" and Fortune 100 corporations. He served as chief national spokesman for the NRA where he regularly determined communications strategy and appeared on network news programs. A former journalist, Bill is an award-winning reporter and columnist. He received his BA degree from Columbia University in New York City. Bill comfortably takes things as they come-quickly spotting the relevant patterns and issues-and creating alternative ways to proceed, taking ownership and easily communicating to others. You will want Bill on your "A-Team."
- Kevin Long - MVP Sports Media Training
- Carmie McCook - Carmie McCook, President of Carmie McCook & Associates, a media and speaker training firm who has counseled Fortune 500 CEOs, political figures, and other high-profile professionals.
- Eileen O'Connor - Orrick Communications
