Randi Scheurer was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 8th Congressional District (map) of Illinois. She was defeated by incumbent Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.) in the Democratic primary that took place on February 5, 2008. [1]
