'Richard Allbritton, a managagement and OD consultant, was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 21st Congressional District (map) of Florida. He sought the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.). The primary will take place on August 26, 2008. He withdrew from the race on April 28, 2008 leaving Hialeah former Mayor Raul Martinez as the Democratic challenger to Lincoln Diaz-Balart.
