Robert "Bob" Abboud is the Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 16th Congressional District (map) of Illinois.[1][2]
On February 5, 2008, he won the Democratic nomination to challenge for incumbent Rep. Donald Manzullo's (R-Ill.). seat by running unopposed in the Democratic primary.[3]
