Scott Trimble is the Green Party's candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 25th Congressional District (map) of Texas. He is running as an Independent to challenge incumbent Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas.).

2008 elections
Trimble was born in Houston, Texas October 1, 1966. He graduated from Humble High School in 1984, and received a B.A. from the University of Houston in 1990. He has worked in the education field for most of the time since then. He is now employed by Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and lives in south Austin.
