H.R. 1495 provides the Army Corps of Engineers with the resources needed to undertake hundreds of fl ood control, navigation, and environmental mitigation projects over the next two years and ensures that transportation demands are met. Following House action to override the president’s veto, the Senate on December 8 voted to override the veto. The measure became law.
