and redirect $300 million to "The Brodhead National Health Care Scholarship Fund "( David Wu's bill which passed as part of the stimulus along with all the other pork barrel spending earmarks doles out $30,000 per person just to train people on On-line Health Care Data Entry and or software development. The trouble is that the data entry aspect is maybe a week a long course or a DVD, and the Veterans Administration already has On-line Health Care software ,as well as , many other major health care organizations. $300 million dollars could pay for four years of tuition for 10,000 Licensed Practical Nurses and RNs. Nurses we will need while 5 million Baby Boomers retire a year for the next 20 years!

Bio
Stephan Andrew Brodhead
Mr. Brodhead's family history in America dates to the Nicholls Expedition in 1665 and the taking of New Amsterdam (New York) for British rule.
110 years later, Brodheads would rise up against British Tyranny and" Taxation without representation"! They would be among the Founding Fathers at the First Continental Congress who declared their independence and took up arms for American freedom and democracy!
Brodheads stood tall with George Washington at Valley Forge, and George Bush in Iraq. Please see 342 years of patriotism

Over the past couple hundred years many Brodhead family members have served in the U.S. Congress. Their greatest acheivements were The Transcontinental Railroad, and the rebuilding of the Capital building after it was burned by the British in the War of 1812.
Stephan was born at Westover Air Force Base, Massachusetts May 4, 1960 to an Air Force Father and a German Immigrant mother. He attended grades Kindergartne through 7th grade in the Mineral County Nevada School District. His father at the time was in "The Strategic Air Command" and was NCOIC of Operations at the Hathorne 1st CEVG radar site . When Stephan's father reired from the Air Force in 1973, the family moved to Longmont, Colorado.
Stephan then joined the Air Force after graduating highschool and served in the Strategic Air Commandon on Nuclear Alert from 1978 to 1982 on the B-52 as an aircraft technician.
Honorably discharged in August 1982, Stephan then attended Louisiana Technical University and majored in Business Economics!
In 1984 Stephan returned to Colorado and attended Aims Community College and Colorado State University. He graduated from Colorado State in 1988 with a degree in Industrial Science. He also served an internship at the "National Center for Vehicle emissions Control and Safety"!
Stephan served in the Wyoming Air National Guard just prior to moving to San Diego, California where he joined the Air Force Reserves at March Air Force Base. Stephan was a member of the 452nd Airlift Wing for 2 years before moving to the Northwest for a job at Boeing . He then joined the 939th Air Rescue Wing at Portland International Airport!
The first thing that struck Stephan when he moved to the Northwest was the natural beauty, economic opportunity, and affordable housing. . Over a period of 15 years, he purchased, remodeled and maintained a large real estate portfolio. In addition he started and ran a small auto repair business for 8 years before being activated for Iraq Freedom.
From 1991 to 2000 Stephan served in the 446th Airlift Wing as a C-141B Flight Engineer.. from 2000 to 2005 Stephan served again with the 452nd Airlift Wing as a C-141C Flight Engineer. He was engaged in pretty much every military operation since Desert Storm. He flew a total of 4600 world wide flying hours perfroming our" National Interest", humanitarian events, and Medivacs for the DOD system. He served an average of 200 days a year over a 20 year period before retiring from the Reserves in 2006. During Operation Iraqi freedom, he spent about 2 weeks of every month for 18 months in Germany performing Airevacs from Iraq . One of his last duties as an Airman was flying C-141C tail number 65-0151 to the boneyard !
Today, the Democratic Socialist Party and their "Great Socialist Sovereignless Society" is no different than the British of 233 years ago. Representatives such as David Wu do not even read the bills that they sign and engage in "Taxation without Representation"! The proposed energy, Cap and Trade, and Health Care programs of the federal government will seek to enslave our children with socialist servitude for their working lives. In reality, the federal government is violating our Constitution in order to tread on our people and create several new and large revenue streams. While David Wu votes for stimulus bills from borrowed China money, and votes to run up huge debts, he insists that Social security is sound etc. This government is living beyond its means and will seek to tax the middleclass, seniors, and veterans, just so it can maintain its inept expansion. Instead of making sure Seniors that have paid their dues over a working lifetime have a sustainable safety net, government will seek to expand and fund itself at their behest. So ,just as all Brodheads have risen up when tyranny rears its ugly head, Stephan too, is making his presence known! He does not fit the current Republican party dogma mold, but we need a new style of Republican leadership in Oregon anyways....
