Steve Gaw was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 9th Congressional District (map) of Missouri. He was seeking the Democratic nomination to replace incumbent Rep. Kenny Hulshof (R-Mo.), who announced in January that he would run for Governor and not seek re-election.[1] The primary will take place on August 5, 2008. He lost in primary elections which took place on August 5, 2008. [2]
