Toni Gilhooley was the Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 17th Congressional District (map) of Pennsylvania. She is the Republican nominee to challenge incumbent Rep. Tim Holden (D-Pa.). She ran unopposed in primary elections, which took place on April 22, 2008, but lost to Holden in the November general election.[1]
