From OpenCongress Wiki

This is my user page. I'm a frequent visitor to the forums that are formed in the comment sections of bills, in recent years especially those involving unemployment benefits for the long term unemployed.

During the height of the Recession one of the staff of OC started a community project to help the unemployed called Benefit Wiki, and I helped add material to that and encouraged others to add their state information. The wiki is still there (use Wiki link above), still a good resource, but it could use more help from people in different states to list resources for those going through difficult times.

To escape the recession I went back to school to update my multimedia and web dev skills, will finish in fall of 2011. Meanwhile, I still keep track of a lot of the "regulars" here on OC when I have the time, as well as continuing to help moderate a Florida forum that was set up to help the unemployed get through the maze of difficulties in collecting their benefits.
