The following candidates for Congress were on the general election ballot in 2006:

  • Rep. Rick Renzi, Republican candidate (incumbent) 1st District (winner)
    • Ellen Simon, Democratic challenger
    • David Schlosser, Libertarian challenger
  • Rep. Ed Pastor, Democratic candidate (incumbent) 4th District (winner)
  • Rep. Jeff Flake, Republican candidate (incumbent) 6th District (winner)
  • Open Seat - 8th District: Rep. Jim Kolbe, Republican incumbent is retiring
