Barry Hall was a Republican candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 1st Congressional District (map) of Arizona. He was seeking the Republican nomination to replace Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.), who is not seeking re-election. He lost in the primary election which took place on September 2, 2008. [1]
