CNN/HLN just had a piece on about people who are cheating on unemployment and that Sen. Byh, I think, opposes the passage of what the Senate just approved. There are cheaters in every system including the very people who run this country from Washington. Until each and every one of them is honest, straightforward and does NOTHING wrong then I don’t want to hear a damn word about anyone else. The vast majority of the unemployed are honest people who look for work regularly and can prove that.

I don’t see any of the crooks in Washington being denied paychecks, benefits or anything else even when they get caught and that seems to be a pretty regulat thing with the fat daddies. They are playing with out lives, giving money to foreign countries, foreigners in this country and approving piddly bills that are really stupid and unnecessary. Take the money from NASA and take care of Real Americans out of work. We don’t need to be in space and have no business there. Keep that money and the exorbitant paychecks to play in space right here on terra firma and we’ll all benefit.

Yup and I passed the Census job exam with flying colors but did not get a job out of it and I’m a college graduate. I am not sending any census papers back. They know where I am and that I am out of work. That’s all they need to know. What can they do?? Put me in jail?? Yeah…then I would have free rent, no bills, food, medical at no expense. Sounds OK with me.

You need to read carefully too..6 week authorized extension takes us until the end of March.

Sara Murray of Wall Street Journal has an article in our paper this morning about the unemployment rate drop for this week. This is nothing more than a political ploy to make it look like the economy is getting better. Unemployed workers are not dumb or stupid and can see right thru these tactics. While jobs are still being lost by the thousands it is impossible for the rate to decrease.

If anything it has increased so Wall Street and the government need to give us more credit than they do now. Numbers don’t mean a thing and can be manipulated easily to look favorable about anything. Actuality and facts are what we are about so they can stop their false reports that only help Wall Street and big business daddies and stick with the truth and the facts that we all can see every single day. This is also a political ploy to try and stop any further bills passing in order to extend benefits to millions who ARE and CONTINUE to look for jobs and have, as of yet, not been hired.

If things are getting better Washington then send everyone who is unemployed a notice of a job you have waiting for us because that is not happening in CA for sure. I am constantly on line and the phone sending applications/resumes and all I get back is that they are not hiring at this time but yet they have ads in the papers and online. Explain that one! 2010 is NOT going to be any better in the job market and after paying taxes into this country’s systems for most of our lives we deserve to not be trodden on by any public officials in the name of politics. It’s survival folks and basic at that.
