The Tea Party was Not taken over. They rejected affiliation with the GOP, They are the “Tea Party Patriots”

the GOP created the shill “Tea Party Express”

The democrats are going to do the very same thing to OWS

So until we can figure out that we shouldn’t trust the media, And research these things, OWS is just pissing up a rope.

They will still divide us, Just as they always have.

Karl Denninger, and his group disagrees with you, and they actually were Tea Party founders. I was there for it…

I’m not going to get into that debate again with you…or the wifi debate either ;)

“The democrats are going to do the very same thing to OWS”

The difference is the OWS people planned for that way ahead of time.

    It will not happen.

There is a lot going on that you will never see in any news….

    The Disease That Is America

My my my, what lovely sheep you are…

Last night I posted a commentary that Sarah Palin will be delivering today.
She, like all modern politicians, reads from a teleprompter.  Wow.  I’m impressed.  For the record, in all of my public-speaking engagements, I’ve never used one.  Even when it was offered.  I don’t believe in them.
20, 30, 40 or more years ago, there wasn’t one.  I will sometimes bring a set of cue cards with me to the podium, and others have historically done that as well.  In my view, if you can’t orate from your mind, you can’t orate.  Anyone can stuff a suit or a blouse – witness the bubbleheads on TV every day.
Are you selling your words?  Or are you selling your***** – or penis?…

…Go ahead folks, tell me that my nailing of the so-called “Tea Party” that turned into the “Guns, Gays and God” Party… …are all full of it…

    I just couldn’t help it where ;)

You read some bizarre things, =) Remember way back in the “NoBama” days? We had come to the conclusion that we all agree on what needs to be done, We just keep getting tangled up in things that divide us, The REAL Tea party is comprised mostly of people who think like you and I.

Dont limit your readers by alienating 50% of them. And yes there is a bunch of Tea Partyers who read this page. I kinda miss Nobama =)

I saw this and I almost fell out of my chair! It seems Glenn Beck is a little worried after all his talk about the unemployed being “un-American”, and poor children should look in “dumpsters” for food.

Glenn Beck: Activists to ‘drag you into the streets and kill you’

“Capitalists, if you think that you can play footsies with these people, you’re wrong,” Beck said. “They will come for you and drag you into the streets and kill you.”

I have no doubt that there are many unemployed and poor Americans that would like to do that you Glenn….

I may have confused Beck with Limbaugh on the dumpster thing…but it’s all the same.

  • WasMiddleClass 10/10/2011 10:36pm

    Now here is a question…

Why was it OK for the Tea Party to carry military style guns at protest, but the political right is so afraid that Occupy is going to kill them…

Maybe we need to start carrying guns too?

I do believe I heard something from the political right about “second amendment remedies” not that long ago…

Funny how the Constitution and rights only seem to apply to the right(when it benefits them) according to them…

Strap on your gun & open carry

And they are so afraid of the Occupy movement?

How about we all start carrying too….

    Imagine how they would scream…

The message is SIMPLE but many CRISIS are HUGE: “Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants” http:occupywallst.org/ ADDL website: http://www.occupytogether.org/

“The total number of people getting benefits is now 2.204 million below year-ago levels. What is not known is how many people have left the extended claims via the road to prosperity — finding a new job — and how many have left on the road to poverty — having simply exhausted even their extended benefits. Unless the program is renewed (unlikely given the current Congress) then all extended benefits will end in January. Make sure to look at both sets of numbers! Many of the press reports will not, but we will here at Zacks”.

#OWS Stands In Solidarity With 100 Arrested At Occupy Boston

Occupy Wall Street would like to express our support and solidarity with both the people of Boston and the 100+ arrested at Occupy Boston last night. We commend them for their bravery in standing their ground at great personal cost to assert the right of the people to peaceful assembly in public spaces.

We condemn the Boston Police Department for their brutality in ordering their officers to descend upon the Occupy Boston tent city in full riot gear to assault, mass arrest, and destroy the possessions of these peaceful women and men. We condemn them for ordering this attack in the middle of the night. These people were not simply protesters holding a rally, it was their home, it was their community and it was violated in the worst possible way by the brutal actions of the BPD. Furthermore:

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 8:01pm

The Boston Police Department made no distinction between protesters, medics, or legal observers, arresting legal observer Urszula Masny-Latos, who serves as the Executive Director for the National Lawyers Guild, as well as four medics attempting to care for the injured.

These actions go beyond unconscionable, they’re unthinkable. If this was war, the BPD could be found guilty of war crimes:

Chapter IV, Article 25 of the Geneva Convention states that "Members of the armed forces specially trained for employment, should the need arise, as hospital orderlies, nurses or auxiliary stretcher-bearers, in the search for or the collection, transport or treatment of the wounded and sick shall likewise be respected and protected if they are carrying out these duties at the time when they come into contact with the enemy or fall into his hands.

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 8:03pm

Every day the actions of the BPD, NYPD, etc. continue to remind us that the police no longer fight to “protect and serve” the American people, but rather the wealth and power of the 1%. With each passing day, as the violence of the state continues to escalate, the myth of American “democracy” becomes further shattered.

How long before Americans pick up arms, as our Constitution guarantees the right to?

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 8:10pm

They threw out all the Occupy Hartford people from their park too!

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 9:20pm

I think this would be of interest to many viewers here.

I was asked by one of my “conservative” friends on another site this: “Why do I have to pay for higher medical insurance for people that do not have any. This is not fair!!!”

    I replied with this,

Following 12,400% Price Hike in Drug Used to Treat Gout, Brown Urges Company to Rethink Decision, Calls on CMS to Investigate Ramifications

Drug Was Hiked From As Little As 4 Cents per Pill to $5 per Pill; For Average Gout Sufferer, Monthly Cost Has Soared From $2.40/Month to $300/Month or More

Approximately 3 Million Americans—Primarily Senior Citizens—Suffer From Gout; Company Stands to Sell $11 Billion Worth of Medication in First Year Alone

    Who profits???

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 9:22pm

And on that note I will expand more on my previous Market Ticker post (from a prominent conservative)…

Go ahead folks, keep playing the GGG game. On the left or on the right. Pick one. Tea Party or the George Soros Party. Both are driving you to this to keep your eye off the ball.

The ball is the theft of this nation by a group of looters that inhabit both Wall Street and Washington DC, with a revolving door between them.

You want an enemy? Focus your energy on Bernanke, Geithner and our President, who supports them both and has said nothing about shutting down the looting.

You – America – You – can fix this tomorrow. Put 500,000 people around The Treasury and The Fed in Washington DC and refuse to leave until Geithner and Bernanke both resign and depart and the FDIC goes through all four of the largest banks, marks their “stuff” to market, and resolves all that are insolvent. Lay peaceful siege, MLK-style.

  • WasMiddleClass 10/12/2011 9:23pm

Yeah, that will cause a short-term economic dislocation. It will also end the economic malaise and break the back of the financial class co-opting Washington DC.

Until it happens, our nation’s long, cold night will not end.

The August 2011 statistics show there were 4.57 official unemployed people hunting for a job to every position available. There were only 3,056,000 job openings for August 2011,for the 37th month, JOLTS again reflects an absolutely horrific jobs market. If one takes the official broader definition of unemployment, or U6, the ratio becomes even worse, 8.30* unemployed people per each job opening for August. If you do not like the use of U-6 to look at the real number of people looking for a job, consider this number. In August 2011, of those not in the labor force, 6,493,000 were actually wanting a job. U-6 only includes 2,575,000 of this number.

Has everyone been getting the same urgent emails I’ve been getting about Bloomberg shutting down OWS tomorrow morning? I haven’t seen the evening news lately, but there’s nothing on the news sites about it that I see. But apparently the park’s owners are demanding the city remove the protesters for “cleaning.” However, supposedly after such “cleaning” there will be new rules about no tarps, no sleeping bags, etc., that will make it impossible to stay there.

I signed all the online petitions, made all the phone calls, and sent all the emails requested by all those urgent requests for action, so I guess we’ll see what happens or not tomorrow morning. If they really do shut it down, I can’t imagine that wouldn’t just bring even more people out in protest.
