    • On February 10, 2009, by hank - Let the market sort out "green" job creation. It has with every other technology that's been in demand before. Even big oil has jumped on the green train now, so one can expect they will have to appease their customer-base to survive competitively now. We don't need a bill for this.

    • On January 28, 2009, by miscdebris - Energy policy goes way beyond Global Warming. Cutting dependence on foreign oil keeps money out of the hands of nations that may be antithetical towards our overall foreign policy goals. Energy price variance through rampant and unregulated markets for speculation cause a great deal of economic hardship throughout our country. Curbing emissions reduces health problems such as asthma. Given all of these reasons, I do not think we can afford to be so myopic and simply focus on Global Warming as the sole reason for energy policy reform in this nation.
