Wouldn’t you think that Barack could get back to work in the Senate and do SOMETHING concrete for this country?
He’s being paid for this job and doing nothing.
Why can’t he pass Kennedy’s bill UI extension 2544(which he cosponsored)?
If he can’t get things done in the Senate, don’t EVEN make promises for when it’s too late!!!!!!!!!!!
Give up a photo op, Barack, and get some work done in the Senate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What’s the deal with all of these SEPARATE bills for extending benefits? Our responses are DILUTED on the different bills. When they look for the number of comments, it looks like not many but when they add together the comments for all the UE extension bills introduced, they’d have to RESPOND to us!!!!
    2544 is the one that:
    - was introduced FIRST
    - gives us a $50 increase
    - should be pushed for by ALL of us
Make them honor KENNEDY and show empathy for US by passing that bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet again, Sen. Pryor showed how little he knows of the world and how ready he is to jump into bed with people who can make him richer. He doesn’t care about what the people of Arkansas want. He is supposed to serve the people of Arkansas. All the people of Arkansas. He is paid to be our voice and instead he gets in bed with other politicians and shows by his decisions he doesn’t care about Arkansas. Hey Sen. Pryor! Our kids are hungry, we need jobs and housing and you just gave rich people who have shown they can’t handle money more money. Sleep well tonight knowing you took money and food away from the children of Arkansas.

Mr. Pryor, I am so sorry to bother you, I realize you are a very busy man, but I really need your help. On Aug. 25, 2008, my husband left me, he trashed my home, told my friends what he had done and went to DHS and told them:

    1. I spend all my money on Meth.
    2. I am never home with my children.
    3. I don’t feed my children.
    4. I don’t clean my house.
    5. I have outbursts all the time and the children are afraid of me.
Since that day, my children and I have been subjected to the following
Me; random drug tests, all negative
them coming in my home all the time
    a psychiatrict evaluation
then they took my children in jan due to some things he had done that I needed to take care of. I took care of them, on the promise I would get my children back. It has been a month, still I don’t have my kids.
Can you please help me fight DHS and the false allegations?

I can’t see how this man can feel comfortable voting with his dang Un-American party and go against the wishes of those in his home state. After all we the majority went for McCain and he don’t have enough sense to see that. I know he is being told not to pass this mess of a health care bill. They have one chance to do it right and still cram this bill home. They have all let us down. No big surprise here. We will just have to wait till the next 2 election cycles to give them what they deserve. Our backs.

Senator Pryor, If this Health Care Bill is so great, why are you and others exempt from it? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! I hope you make the right decision on this matter (Include yourself or vote no) We the people can and will vote Republican and press to repeal your vote. Americans will vote out all the people that made the wrong decision starting in November. Keep your job and do the right thing. (Start from scratch and fix it).

    Dear Senator Pryor,
S.3520 needs to be passed immediately. There are 15 million Americans who are “unemployed through no fault of their own,” and who are also frantically attempting to find new jobs that do not exist. The majority of these 15 million have a family dependent upon their income, so that increases the number to possibly 30 or even 45 million Americans who are in imminent danger of losing everything. When this happens, the financial and moral ramifications for this country will be dire indeed. I’ll say it again— S.3520 needs to be passed immediately! Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

On this current Tax Break Extension issue for earnings over $250K per year, please make it simple. You have the easiest hand to play on this. Pass the tax break for all income below $250K per year, and leave the Republicans pressing for extensions to the richest Americans without “Paying for it”. Republicans have been saying that all bills should be paid for with off set spending cuts, but they have not made any such cuts known regarding their desire for the richest of the rich to get richer. MAKE IT SIMPLE, you guys can look like champions of the American people. Let them look like the greedy, disconnected elitests that they are. Have half a brain, conscious, and soul all in one small step. In God WE Pray,…

Thanks for nothing…..why vote no on the dream act. Hope you are a native American because if not, your just cold hearted.

Well Mark it looks like you have chosen to follow in Blanche’s footsteps. Because of your vote to keep Obamacare WE will vote you out in 2014.

  • daughter1 07/25/2011 10:05pm

Pryor is a senator who will not be re-elected in 2014. I don’t think he has a chance. I know he’s a democrat but that does not mean he has to vote to kill our economy the way he does. We voted out Blanche Lincoln and will vote out Pryor too. They thought just because they did not vote to pass Obama’s health care bill on the final vote we will forget. They can criticize Bush’s Prescription Drug Plan for Seniors all they want. What they have done is so much worse. They continue to do bad things to hurt our economy. Pryor has to understand we do not want big government and spending. The debt is on Obama’s and the dems heads. They need now to shut up and join with the republicans and fix their mess. That’s what Arkansans and Americans voted for in 2010.
