This ex-marine is a disgrace to his ex-uniform as well as to his ex-comrades. The people in his district are just plain ignorant for having re-elected him. On top of his traitorous statements against Marines battling in Iraq, he blatantly and unashamedly volunteered his state district to house muslim extremist prisoners in his district at the risk of his own constituents. Here’s a guy who has lost him senses, yet remains as a representative of people who, had they not lost their senses as well, should have have NEVER been given the honor of strolling the halls of congress. Instead, he was returned to join his anti-American cohorts in the once-honored chamber where the laws of this country are created. John Murtha should suffer the very fate he called for when attempting to lynch his ex-comrades in the U.S. Marines. Speaking of an alleged combat incident in which Al Qaeda fighters had been killed (Murtha claimed they had been “murdered”, he said, “They should be taken out and hung!” before they even had a trial before any judicial body whatsoever. In my view, erhaps he should be the recipient of the same sort of treatment. Fortunately for the accused men, a military court exonerated them of all allegations. Not so ex-Marine Murtha. What kind of a person has Pennsylvania representing them? If you don’t know, you’re probably one of the ignorant voters who put him back in office.

I come from Murtha’s district and I am in complete amazement the majority of the people that continue to vote for him. Anytime his seat is challenged, I vote against him. He does not deserve to be in government office. He has no respect for the people who blindly re-elect him. I think the reason he keeps his office is because the people are scared. He has brought a lot of government contracted jobs into this area because of his position. I believe that people are afraid that if they vote him out that they in turn will be voting out the chance to bring more jobs into the area. However, this is a very poor excuse to continually keep him in office. He is a disgrace to the office he holds.2010 will not get here soon enough but I fear the outcome will be the same regardless.
