If Americans really want health care reform then our Government has to go back to the basics, specifically the tax codes that bring in revenue. Our tax system is over the top broken and there is a way to change that. S.296, the FAIR TAX bill is the way. Senator LeMieux needs to get on board with this bill, become a co-sponsor. The bill is going to revolutionize the tax system in this country, bringing back 11 TRILLION from offshore accounts, adding much neede revenue to the general fund and making April 15th just another day. Senator, please co-sponsor this bill and if you are not familiar I hope you do so soon!

Why is your party vote percentage dropping? Why are you most voting with a democrat and NOT with a republican? Looks like you are really a Rino in Republican clothing. Don’t you realize we are fighting for the very life and liberties of Americans????

You need to cut taxes, cut big government’s invasion into people’s lives, support and defend our Constitutional Rights and defend and protect America from foreign invasion(close the borders!!!). Read the Constitution. It’s all there!!

What don’t you understand about all of that????

If you are apart of the American unemployed or share the same views as the unemployed and want to have a peaceful march on Washington to show that we do need our unemployment or in support of unemployment, email me at This has to be done, a peaceful stand needs to take place soon to make a difference. Before a lot of Americans lose the little bit that they do have. We didn’t ask for the economy to be this way and it is not our fault that we can not find jobs all at the same time. We worked all of our lives and now that we need help, the people in congress is saying no! We are the ones that help pay for wars, national disasters, and the congressmen paychecks. Now they are telling us that they cannot pass a bill so we can feed and house our families. What is more important the “Oil Spill” or the unemployed and their children. I don’t think so, it’s time for a peaceful march, email me at, to make a peaceful stand now.

You and the rest of the Republicans are so transparent! President Obama, as well as us Americans, know what you are doing. Stalling and not voting on what the people want and need in this country. Do the job you were elected to do, and start voting! Your tactics in stalling is only going to back fire on you all. Show our President some respect. How you treat him, is a reflection on how you treat us Americans. We may have been fooled in the past, but not anymore! We The People have spoken by electing President Obama into office. We need change and we need it now! And quit blaming President Obama for the disaster in the Gulf. Enough is enough!

I need you to come tell my children that because of you there daddy can’t afford to feed them and that we will be living in a tent before long. c’mon you have the guts to say no to an extension come face my kids tell them why because I don’t have the answer.

I think it’s time for the Unemployed to march on the Republican Senators where it will affect them most! Their homes pick a day how about the 4th of July. Obstructionist tactics countered by passionate tactics. Let them and their mega rich cohorts know we won’t take it lying down. Here is Florida Republican Obstructionist U.S. senator George LeMieux’s home address
    2743 NE 30th Street
    Lighthouse Point, FL 33064

You are a disgrace to your country and should be embarrassed to have the UNITED STATES in front of your title.4th of July is upon us-it reminds us of history and how the people can come together to make a difference.I hope you and your family meet the same outcome as the 15,000,000+ unemployed. You turned your back on the Citizens by playing games and stupid antics.Assistance needs to be offered to ease the minds of the families and allow continued dignity no matter the cost. You spend OUR money like water and the American people MUST and SHOULD be priority one!
“As good government is an empire of laws, how shall your laws be made? In a large society, inhabiting an extensive country,it is impossible that the whole should assemble to make laws. The first necessary step, then,is to depute power from the many to a few of the most wise and good.”
John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776
Obviously we dont have the few wise and good in the senate-but we have the power to change that.

    Dear Senator LeMieux,
S.3520 needs to be passed immediately. There are 15 million Americans who are “unemployed through no fault of their own,” and who are also frantically attempting to find new jobs that do not exist. The majority of these 15 million have a family dependent upon their income, so that increases the number to possibly 30 or even 45 million Americans who are in imminent danger of losing everything. When this happens, the financial and moral ramifications for this country will be dire indeed. I’ll say it again— S.3520 needs to be passed immediately! Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

  • Revolution 06/30/2010 11:06am

You are a complete moron..people are sad because of the beach??!! They may be living on it soon due to your failure to provide unemployment assistance. You should be removed out of iffice for incompetency, failure of duty!
You suck-I hope your kids and family watch the news and c-span and get the full story of what is going on today and what you are talking about!

Looking at your voting record, it seems you’ve forgotten which state you represent! Why don’t you listen to the people of Florida and hear what they need? We are your boss, not the Republican Party, Ben Nelson, or Blanche Lincoln. We didn’t get to vote you in, but we certainly will have the opportunity to vote you out come November. You’re focus needs to be on the long-term interests of FLORIDA and her people. If you think towing the party line will secure your political future, ask the Governor how that worked out for him. At least he finally woke up and remembered who he’s suppose to represent. You and your pals are no different than the Carpetbaggers who came south after the Civil War to exploit us. Thanks to BP and your Party’s chants of “drill, baby, drill”, the people of Florida are waking up and taking note of who’s really looking out for our interests.

  • Star58 07/21/2010 2:46am

Saw you on TV this morning crying about how the economy in Florida is so bad and how people are losing thier jobs and how Fl can’t help because the state is in a bad way. You cry about BP not doing what they said they would do. Yet you vote no on the UI extension in fact acting like BP. It’s all about the almighty dollar. I fail to understand how that makes sense. I feel sorry for the people of your state.

  • Mocha6 12/09/2010 4:14pm

After all the calls, emails etc… Made to you asking for your yes vote on the dream act, you still did what most of your party members wanted and yet not what the people of Florida were asking you for. Just goes to show that its all about you guys in congress and nothing about what people of America want. Thats for this bill and most of the others that were or are being voted on. Who ever looks at this bill and still thinks it not a good, fair and fixing a problem, that needs to be fixed bill, is heartless. Immigration needs fixing, something needs to happen, people are still coming, people are not leaving and by not doing nothing, matter will just get worst. We need a immigration reform that fixes not just a fear path way for some, not all and fixes the borders and other issues but a immigration bill that makes total since. And to start fixing this problem, the dream act is a good way to start.

  • Mocha6 12/09/2010 4:15pm

I understand that being in congress and having to vote can not and should not be a easy thing to do. But please, vote on what your heart says is right and listen to the people of your state, which most voted for you. When and if the time comes for a dream act vote please have a heart and try to see it from another point of view. Vote on this bill or any other bill with your heart on the people of this great country and not with your mind on your party only.
