Cheryl Crist was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 congressional elections for the 2nd Congressional District (map) of Washington. She was seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge incumbent Rep. Brian Baird (D-Wash.). She was defeated in the primary that took place on August 19, 2008. [1][2]
