Vicky Hartzler served as a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 when she chose not to seek re-election upon becoming a mother. In 2004 she served as state spokesperson for the Coalition to Protect Marriage in Missouri and in 2005 was appointed chairperson of the Missouri Women’s Council. [1]
